Disney is offering a free day’s admission to the first 1 million guests who complete a day of volunteer work in 2010. They are partnering with HandsOn Network to connect people with projects and to certify the work is done. They have 70,000 affiliated agencies from Habitat for Humanity to local food banks, health care centers, churches and educational centers.

Volunteers must register online with Disney and must be residents of US, Canada or Puerto Rico. Participants must be 18 years or older to sign up for the program, but volunteer work done by children 6-17 qualifies them for a free ticket also as long as the kids are accompanied by an adult when volunteering.
